A sunny day here in Capitola, and lots of driftwood left on the beach after all this nasty weather… which, inevitably, turns to impromptu construction.
I guess my sister-in-law collects these little mouse-doll thingies, so Kel picked this one up at Ross or some other place for her.
I just keep expecting to wake up one night and see it standing on my pillow, ready to stab me with its little “Sweet Heart” sign/lollipop/murder weapon.
Just like in Capitola, large parts of the Carmel beach has been washed away — leaving all these cool rocks exposed that were previously buried.
Finally, a sunny day. Too bad not enough people were taking advantage of it today. More pretty for us, I guess.

The light was perfect today — a bright sunny day after more than a week of pounding rain here on the CA coast. We had lunch at the Whole Enchilada in Moss Landing, and I had to grab a close shot of the fountain they have outside.
