Every day, spring’s just a little bit closer.

58/365 Arriba!

Best combination: watches and Mexican luchadors.

57/365 Light Bright

This is the same IKEA light I used for my light painting experiment… just a little closer and slower.

56/365 Pewter Texture

A macro shot of this giant super-heavy candelabra on the dining room table. Seriously, you could brain someone with this thing.

55/365 Shooting Blanks

I think I might have gotten a bad batch of Instax Mini film for my Diana+. I bought a 10-pack on eBay (from Hong Kong), and having just started my third pack, I’m finding lots of wasted shots. I mean, I’m no Ansel Adams or anything, but when you shoot a static shot in normal [...]

54/365 Moon Ring

Rose just decided to lie right here while we were outside at Peet’s enjoying what was left of the day. The converging concrete lines made for an interesting shot — iPhone to the rescue!

Another Diana+ instant shot.

51/365 Waiting

02.20.10 Posted in Project 365 by sgd

Kel in Pacific Grove. We had walked up and down the main drag, only to find out that every little cafe and restaurant was closed (apparently, they all close early on Saturday?), so we had plopped down on a bus bench, annoyed.
Another Diana+ Instant shot.

50/365 Instant Lomo

My 10-pack of Fujifilm Instax Mini film showed up today, so I was excited to break out my Diana+ (with Instant Back) to see how it worked. Well, first off… I need to learn how to to use it a little better. I’ll need a few more tries to figure out the right settings for [...]
