It was an amazingly clear today — normally, you can’t see the hills on the other side of Moss Landing, but there they are.

A little piece of some other succulent fell into our large cactus last year, and it’s now grown into this cool little guy. The multi-colored look is the actual plant, not a Hipstamatic addition.

We’re tearing apart and landscaping our front courtyard, and looking for a little fountain to add some nice water to the area. The Santa Cruz ProBuild has some awesome stuff that isn’t totally checkbook-breaking. Kel’s particularly fond of this one.
