We normally walk down to the Esplanade for ice cream every Thursday, but jeez! Super cold tonight, lots of wind.

…So we froze our butts off and had awesome ice cream anyway.

A little piece of some other succulent fell into our large cactus last year, and it’s now grown into this cool little guy. The multi-colored look is the actual plant, not a Hipstamatic addition.

We’re tearing apart and landscaping our front courtyard, and looking for a little fountain to add some nice water to the area. The Santa Cruz ProBuild has some awesome stuff that isn’t totally checkbook-breaking. Kel’s particularly fond of this one.

Lots of fog and clouds on the coast today; Kel said it cleared out maybe for a couple of hours at most.

Thank Rosebud for the corner smudge — she decided to walk in a random direction while I was trying to shoot this, so I’m guessing the shadow up there is some random body part of mine.
